Lessons of the 2006 Lebanon war
The second Lebanon war failed to neuter Hezbollah and is a model of how not to deal with violent factions in the Middle East
12 July 2010
Israelis now face a fact that they rely on UN force to protect them and not on their own once invinsible IDF. Hizbollah smashed the israeli army in 20 days, an army which in the past could conquer six nations in six days, now it could not take six inches in south Lebanon. Israel is now really scared of forces which not only know how to fight, they are not affraid of israel. furture seems pretty bleak for israel if you listen to experts on middle east.
