Come on Guardian. Please. Since when have you startedto side with a corrupt politicians? Miss Bhutto hashad two chances to lead the country and she blew it.She robbed the people of their millions, and issuspected of having her own brother assissinated in agame of lust for power. People of Pakistan have triedher and she failed them twice. Old guards should moveout the way and make room for some fresh blood. Peopletoday are sick of old promises and want to takePakistan into a better brighter future.

Experts have said that neither Benazir nor anyone isreally good at fighting terrorism. Some people wantImran Khan to be given a chance. A fresh face whoalthough Islamist, he is moderate enough to win overmullahs to help reform extremists in Pakistan. But heis unlikely to get far without western assisstance.Presently US and UK are pinning their hopes on BenazirBhutto, corrupt poloticians who was facing crimininalcharges last week, but who mysteriously was helpedfrom Washginton and London. Somehow those old chargesof corruption, murder and list goes on... were droppedand President Musharraf was requested to let her backinto Pakistan. Analysts predict a blacklash againstwest and more hardening of Pakistani attitudes againstUS if Miss Bhutto takes power. She has been leader ofthe country twice and Pakistani people are now sick ofher on the whole. They currently love Musharraf as wasshown by last fair election. He is best bet for US.Although a reluctant ally, he has managed to clear thecountry of a lot of Wahhabi influence from middleeast. He has expellled Taliban and helped westernforces in Afghanistan. US does not like the securityservice which it blames for much of Afghan violence.Pakistan commentators suggest that in a clear attemptto dismantle the ISI, this was a set up by outsiders.Miss Bhutto is linked up to reform the entire securitysetup of Pakistan which is pro-Taliban. US fears thatPakistan nukes can fall into extremist hands andtherefore Musharraf has to go. He happens to be thehead of the ISI. British press also suggested US isafter Pakistan nukes to make sure they are in securehands. Which means Miss Bhutto. Oh yes. Allthese EU nations were under Islamic rule and there wasno oppression nor persecution of minorities. Jews hadtheir golden age only under Islamic Europe. Muslims in Spain and rest ofEu were either expelled or were forced to convert toChristianity. I mean, I do not know which what cheekPope accuses Muhamamd of inhumane things. Being Jewish and pro-Israel we would expect MrGoldberg to not like the obvious finding of two USProfessors. When top academics like John Mearsheimerand Stephen Walt claim that 9/11 was a natural paybackfor US support for Israeli crimes againstPalestinians, then this is quite shocking but only forthose who wish to hide the facts from the world. weall see how Israel's behaviour is quite raciststowards the Arabs. For 60 years no one has stoppedIsrael in its war crimes in the occupied lands. Nowthe two professors admit some brutal truths. Theywrite:
US support for Israel was a "major cause" of the 9-11attacks, according to University of Chicago ProfessorJohn Mearsheimer and Harvard Professor Stephen Walt, who appeared at the Massachusetts Institute ofTechnology last week to promote their book The IsraelLobby and US Foreign Policy. "A critically importantissue when talking about America's terrorism problemis the matter of how US support for Israel's brutaltreatment of the Palestinians relates to what happenedon September 11," said Mearsheimer, suggested that thenotion of payback for injustices suffered by thePalestinians is perhaps the "most powerfully recurrentin Bin Laden's speeches." Bin Laden wanted to makesure the attackers struck Congress because it is "themost important source of support for Israel in theUnited States," adding that Bin Laden twice tried tomove up the dates of the attacks because of eventsinvolving Israel.
Professor claims that Israel had outlived itsusefulness to the United States, Walt added that"Israel may well have been a strategic asset duringthe Cold War," but that "...the Cold War is now over."He said that America's unconditional support forIsrael in the Middle East is "one" of the reasons "wehave a terrorism problem, and it makes it harder toaddress a variety of problems in the Middle East."

It was greed for money in these private armies thatcaused US defeat in Iraq. Many analysts say that if a mighty superpower couldnot manage to subdue Iraq, then it can be taken ascertain that Iran would be the final nail in itscoffin. Bombing Iran would achieve nothing expect lossof innocent life. Iran's nuclear program cannot beended this way. In fact, Iran would then be justifiedto openly produce nuclear weapons. Even today Iran haslegal justification to make atmoic weapons to deter USand Israel who constanly threaten Iranan people whenthey declare that military option is on the table, andpark nuclear armed aircraft carriers right at Iran'sdoor. Do that to China and see how many will sink. Iam surprised that Iran has shown restraint and havenot blown the American warships out of Gulf waters.Iran certainly has capability to cause some seriousharm to US military and intersts in the entire region.Even if US succeeds in boming a known nuclear plants, that will not stop Iran's nuclear pursuit. They saythey dont want nuclear bombs. We should believe themand stop provoking them. Its is not a nice thing todo. We wouldn't like it ourselves. We need to treatIran with respect and dignity that it deserves. If youdont, I am affraid that there will be a new MiddleEast. And it wont at all belong to us. That is theprice. Decision lies with Tel Aviv. Only Israel is inreality pushing US to go to war with Iran, as itpushed US into removing Saddam.

Khalid Diab wrote: Nasrallah's reckless andunnecessary provocation of an Israel itching for afight, and the unrestrained Israeli fury it unleashed, was claimed by Hizbullah as a "divine victory".
Does that suppose to make sense. It is neitheraccurate reasonable. Khalid is no being honest here.
The victory claimed by Hezbollah as well as everythink tank around the world was standing up to Israeland making sure that Israeli army does not achieve itsdeclared mission. In case Mr Diab, in his dislike ofHezbollah, has forgotten what Israeli aims were, allowme to refersh his memory: He can also read these factson BBC.
Israel vowed to not stop the war until it had managedto secure the release of its its kidnapped soldiers.Israel also vowed to destroy Hezbollah and end themissile threat towards its cities.
It failed to achive either of those objectives. Whichis why Israeli Defense Minister was sacked as well theArmy Chief of Staff for opening his mouth saying hewould now finish Hezbollah.
Where are the soldiers? Are Hezbollah not a danger toIsrael anymore?
Today Hzbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is a pin uphero in Arab homes. He is more loved than any otherArab leaders. In Lebanon he is more popular than ever.President Ahmadinejad is also a hero of millions ofArabs for standing up to US arrogance.
Hezbollah guerilla leader Hassan Nasrallah said thiswas first time in Israeli history that it had beendefeated by an Arab force. He also said he madeIsraeli soldiers run like rats. It was Israel thatsued to peace at UN. In the middle of the war, Israelivowed not to let UN interfere in the demolition ofHezbollah. When it became clear that it was theIsraeli military that was being crushed, Israelquickly accpeted UN resolution.
These are basic facts which even children in Bristolknows. Guardian and BBC archives are available forconfirmation.

We all know that Talibanisation was encouraged byAmerica in 1990s. It was only way to keep Iranianinfluence in check, US dreaded Iran and, therefore,Washington wanted to set up anti-Iranian extremists inAfghanistan. US even wanted war between Iran andTaliban. It engineered murder of 12 Iranian diplomatsin Kabul in 1998 calculating that there is no way Iranwould not strike Taliban and hence both countrieswould be in full-blooded war.
I think it is time US apologied to Iran for its pastactivities against their nation. Iranian are aforgiving people.
War has always suited Washington until it came home onSeptember 11 2001.
Now US wants Iran on its side to finish off Al Qaeda,Taliban, and other possible terrorists or theirhelpers like Saddam. Iran does not have to do anythingbut to see US suffer from the fruits of its own hands.

World famous jourlanist from New York,Seymour Hersh, wrote an article on this group: Fatahal-Islam: a US Protg. He claims thatgroups like Fatah al-Islam are the result ofWashington's underground policies.
Hersh blasts the US of asking Prime Minister FouadSiniora to go ahead with funding radical groups suchas the militant group Fatah al-Islam to act as acounterweight to the Shia group Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Neoconservatives in the Bush administration have spentmillions of dollars aiding such groups even after9/11. The White House does not want the popularHezbollah movement to play an active role in Lebanon,he pointed out.

Historyknows of no other disgrace suffered by world power asone meated out to America by the religious religiousclerics of Iran. These are all facts.
I think US should just shut up and watch and learn howto win hearts and minds the British way.

Madline Albright said US is conducting excercises nearIran - which is clearly provoking Iran, would US do itnear Russia? She said war may be started accidently.Iran or US may be in confrontation as result ofmistake by one side. I think US is deliberatelywaiting for something to happen. Trusting US, we allknow they are themsleves going to do something andthen blame it on Iran as an excuse to launch a war. This UK troops cirses is only a tasters of what is tocome. US will simply say look UN has issued 3resolution and Iran did not listen and now they didthis so we had to strike their nuclear plants. What isUN going to do then. NOTHING. This is how Pentagon ishoping to do this year.UK newsMilitary · PoliticsPolitics and Iraq · World newsUnited States · Iran · IraqCall that humiliation? My comment 31 Mar 07, 1:23pm
Britain is making a fuss over this crisis only becauseit has no intenetion to resolve it. Poodle Blair isonce again at mercy of his master, Bush, who is atmercy of Israeli lobby, who want nothing less thanattack on Iran to destroy its nucelar program. Sincelast years US is preparing to strike Iran atinsistence of Israel. And Blair is styupid enough totake part in setting up Iran to give pretext to Bushto 'deal' with Iranian threat to Israel. Israel isdesperate to use this crisis to push US to go to warwith Iran.
I think if you just look at last year you can easilysee Iran will be hit this year. However, all analystshave said that in any war, Israel will be the biggestloser once again. UK newsMilitary · PoliticsForeign policy · World newsIran · Middle EastA peculiar outrageMy comment 30 Mar 07, 1:37pm
Blair stands shoulder to shoulder with a man whoallows sleep deoprevation of detainees and waterboarding torture techinques, man who has secretprisons, man who does not release any footage in whichprisoners are seen eating, smoking writting letters totheir families... do I need to go on? Blair claims wehave to win this war on our values. Well, So far,Iranian values - though still wrong - are far higherthan those of either British or American forces.
Britain and United States are in no position to givemorality lessons to Iran or anyone else.
They have lost the right to talk about ethics andmorals.
UK and US have done very dirty deeds. They are as evilas Al Qaeda.UK newsMilitary · PoliticsForeign policyWorld newsIran · Unacceptable behaviourMy comment 29 Mar 07, 3:44pm
Last night leading seaman Faye Turney was paraded onIranian television, "admitting" they had trespassedinto Iranian waters.
Just as terror suspects are "paraded" by our ally USon CNN and BBC "admitting" to every bombing that everwent on in the world.
We cannot have it both ways. Whoever does this sort ofthing must be condemned, even our allies. Blair failedto critise Bush on treatment of prisoners who wereabused tortured, even killed by CIA in secretdetentions, even on the civilised nations of EU,including Britain.
Its time that everyone starts behaving in a civilisedbehaviour. There is no place for any goverment whobreaks international laws.

European nations has lost moral high ground afterindependent investigation discovered that EU hadallowed CIA to kidnap people from its soil and takethem to secret torture prisons in so called renditionflights.

Why dont they follow Israel's example and bomb thecrap out of Iran for kidnapping Britiish soldiers.Hezbollah had captured just two Israel soldiers andIsrael went bonkers. British and Americans have learntfrom Israel's desasterous defeat at the hands ofHezbollah. Military force did not secure the releaseof Israel soldiers. Britain and US know that Iranwould win in any confrontation just as Hezbollah hadwon the war even when US and Britain gave Israel thegreen light to act as brutally as possible to crushHezbollah. It didnt work. Hezbollah eneded up crushingIsrael. Olmert and other Israeli leaders are facingthe boot in the butt after they received a bloodingnose from Lebanese guerillas. Best thing in thislatest acpture of 15 soldiers is to not to provoke theIranians. They are ready for a fight. It is a foregone conclusion that they will eventually win in anywar that is imposed on them by US or UK. It is mostprobable that British troops strayed into Iranianwaters. Foriegn Office should simple appologise anddefuse this crises before they have too much on theirplate which they would not be able to swallow. Britaindid say sorry to Iran to get back its soldiers thelast time in June 2004 when UK marines did enterIranian water by mistake.

Britain and American can never ask the blacks toleave. Blacks did not immigrate to America. They didnot seek asylum there. No. They were kidnapped andforced to live in US. When you look at it, the countryactually belongs to either American Indians and theblack population. Indians were exterminated withruthless efficiency that puts the Nazis to shame.Slaughter of Native American was the first Holocaust. But nobody remembers that. Shame on rightsorganisations. The blacks are still there. They arestill being treated as third class citizens. Look athow white America dealt with Katrina disaster in NewOrleans - a black city. Had Boston been flooded, MRPresident would have flooded in billions of dollarswithin hours. Malcom X was right; black man needs totake over United States. Its time Obama became thePresident. But somehow I dont think the the all whiteclub of neo-cons would let that happen. This isdemocratic form of racism.
